Supporting the net zero transition by delivering renewable energy and low-carbon infrastructure

Carlton Power Group is an independent, UK based energy development company formed in 1995, headquartered in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, with an excellent track record of delivering energy projects in the UK and Europe.

Hydrogen

Carlton Power are currently developing a number of green hydrogen production facilities around the UK. Three initial projects have been successful in gaining funding support from DESNZ: Barrow Green Hydrogen, Trafford Green Hydrogen and Langage Green Hydrogen.

The UK government aims to support 10GW of hydrogen production by 2030, with at least half from electrolysis, 1GW of which to be in construction or operational within two years of FID.

Net Zero

The UK power sector has made great strides in lowering its carbon footprint through development of Wind and Solar PV. These technology types provide intermittent generation and there remains a requirement for reliable and flexible energy storage and power solutions to provide backup to the grid.

Carlton Carbon

As well as being experienced project developers, Carlton has a carbon management business, providing expert advice and risk management in the compliant EU and UK ETS markets. Carlton Carbon also offers carbon credits for organisations to voluntarily offset their residual carbon emissions, enabling them to achieve net zero.
