Carlton Power wins Green Hydrogen Innovation Award
At the Wind Investment Awards 2025, Carlton Power won an award for Green Hydrogen Innovation, and in particular in securing three projects in the Government’s first Hydrogen Allocation Round (HAR1) – at Barrow-in-Furness, Trafford in Greater Manchester and Langage near Plymouth.
The judging panel said: “Carlton Power is putting risk capital to work. They secured three projects in the UK’s HAR1 auction round and two further projects in HAR2 – with a clear offtake for each, in place. However, they’re not just winning the project tenders – they’re then joining the dots and, putting their money where their mouth is.”
Eric Adams, Carlton Power’s Hydrogen Projects Director: “It’s great that our work in green hydrogen has been recognised. Many thanks to our partners who have supported our work thus far.”
